The Somfy curtain motor and track can be easily integrated with all types of curtains (traditional, wave or pleat, with or without blackout). The motor is neatly concealed behind the curtain and rails available in any length (up to 10 m). They are suitable for left, right and centre opening curtains.

The points to check before selecting a motorised system: 1. How much do the curtains you want to motorise weigh? You can motorise curtains up to a maximum weight of 60 kg. 2. What are the width and style of your curtains? You can motorise curtains of different styles (straight or pleated) up to a maximum width of 12 meters. 3. What type of opening do you have? A central opening or one that opens at the sides? 4. From what side do you wish to install your curtain? Left or right? 5. Is there a power supply close by? The motors will need to be connected to the home's electrical system.
Certainly. All you need to do is add an RTS receiver which will centralize your orders and transmit them to the motors via the existing wiring. And if you subsequently add another RTS product, it won't need to be wired to the control point.
