The power supply: battery or mains?

BATTERY

Somfy’s WireFree™ motors run on a battery that is concealed in the roller tube or the housing. That means no wires, and the optional rechargeable battery lasts a long time. You can control the blinds using a remote control. A battery-powered solution is less suitable for larger types of interior blinds.

Sun sensor or timer ?

The timer function on our Nina remote control lets you set your window furnishings to open automatically every morning. This will increase your peace of mind, because they are operated automatically even when you’re away. Consequently, it always look like you are at home, which reduces the risk of break-ins.

Our sun sensors, which can be fitted indoors or outdoors, can also measure light levels and the temperature. They immediately set your interior blinds to give you maximum comfort.
