Somfy motorised systems are compatible with most external Venetian blinds. What type of external Venetian blinds do you have? 

- Standard external Venetian blinds: The adjustable slats are connected by visible cords passing through slots in each slat. 
- Metal external Venetian blinds: These types of external Venetian blinds have slat adjustment and drive mechanisms concealed in the channels. The blind slats can also come in different shapes - flat, Z-shaped, or curved depending on the design, strength and desired effect.

Thank the motorization, no more cords and cranks unattractive and delicate to handle. From the remote control, the external venetian blind is maneuvering smoothly. Its slats are oriented precisely to modulate the light and control the sunshine of the habitat.

The points to check before selecting a motorised system: 
1. Do you have a power supply at the spot you wish to install the motor?
 

The My button stops the blind when it is moving. You can also stop it by turning the thumbwheel, or by pressing the Up or Down button.
